Wouldn’t it be worse to argue that the Holocaust occured but that the killings were justified? I’ve never understood why the most maniacal anti-semites don’t do this. I’m also curious — would it even be illegal in Europe? To say the Holocaust occured and was justified?

Seems as if the denial of the Holocaust is an implicit acknowledgement that deliberately murdering Jewish civilians during wartime would have been immoral. Because Jews are human beings.

I don’t get the point of this article be listed on a “hate watch” site. You’re telling me it’s hateful to deny an event in history? Doesn’t that put everybody on hatewatch? Can’t deny the event of mohamud or it’s hate. Can’t deny the event of jesus or it’s hate. Can’t deny Rosevelt was a great president or you’ll hurt the democrats feelings. Can’t deny Bush was a great president or you’ll hurt the republicans feelings.

Can someone please give me the exact list of events you can’t deny lest you’ll be put on SPLC hatewatch? Seriously. It’d be nice if the SPLC would print a list of historical events it’s considered hateful to deny.
