For the past three years, a mysterious figure calling himself Horus the Avenger has operated White Rabbit Radio, an online community of racists dedicated to spreading a message called the “Mantra” far and wide.

Written by a curmudgeonly segregationist with a history of drug abuse named Robert Whitaker, the 221-word Mantra is an attack on multiculturalism. “Anti-racist is code word for anti-white,” the Mantra reads in part.

Its widespread presence on the Internet is due to a small but highly dedicated group of activists who call themselves the “swarm” and furiously propagate it online. In essence, they comprise an online flash mob, spending hours posting the Mantra in the comments section of YouTube videos, tagging it to news articles on race, and reprinting the Mantra in full on most white nationalist websites of note.

But until now, little was known about the energetic propagandist known as Horus. He has had no known membership in any racist group and has gone to great lengths to hide his identity. The last time Hatewatch caught up with Craig Cobb, the veteran neo-Nazi and creator of the white nationalist website Podblanc, he was about to be kicked out of his adopted home country of Estonia. That happened. Now, it turns out that Estonia’s loss is Montana’s pain.

Three years ago, neo-Nazi Craig Cobb announced that he was moving to Estonia to help build a European white supremacist movement.

It didn’t quite go as planned. Cobb, who runs the white supremacist video-sharing website Podblanc, recently reported that he’s being kicked out of the country where he once hoped to form an International Office of White Diaspora. “My ‘crimes’ are, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Endangering public security, public order, public safety, moral standards, health, or some other relevant public interests,” he posted on Podblanc in an account laced with expletives and racial epithets.

It’s not the first country that’s given him the boot. On June 2, Cobb, 57, traveled to Helsinki, where he hoped to receive asylum from the Finnish government because of persecution based on religion (the racist World Church of the Creator), race (“indigenous White”), membership in white nationalist groups, and political opinion (“right wing secessionist-separatist and preservationist of our wonderful, extreme-technological-giving 8% White Precious Minority on the Teeming Dark Planet”). Keith Luke — the 22-year-old white supremacist accused of carrying out a racially motivated rape and murder spree in Brockton, Mass., the day after Barack Obama was inaugurated as the nation’s first black president — appeared in court last week with a jagged swastika freshly carved into his forehead.

Authorities said Luke somehow managed to carve the swastika himself within a special unit at Plymouth County Jail, where he’s locked down for 23 hours a day and monitored by camera in his cell. As the Brockton daily newspaper The Enterprise reported: “It was not known exactly how he was able to etch the swastika into his flesh, but Luke is given a disposable razor to use for 20 minutes, three times a week.”

Luke has further altered his appearance since his arrest by shaving his head, growing a beard and shedding what appears to be at least 50 pounds.

On a video of last week’s arraignment, Luke appears bemused as he pleads not guilty to all charges against him, which include two counts of murder, four counts of aggravated rape, six counts of attempted murder, armed home invasion, kidnapping and a bundle of firearms charges.

The Enterprise reported that during the 10-minute court hearing, “Luke alternately smirked at the judge and craned his neck to glare at the victims’ families. The victims’ families silently stared back at the suspect.”

Luke stands accused of shooting to death two Cape Verdean immigrants and raping and attempting to murder a third. According to law enforcement reports, Luke told police that he was “fighting for a dying race” and that he decided to kill blacks, Latinos and Jews after reading about “the demise of the white race” on white supremacist websites such as PodBlanc, which glorifies racist “lone-wolf” killers.

Luke, who was carrying 200 rounds of ammunition on the day he was arrested, reportedly told police that after randomly gunning down as many non-whites as he could, he planned to shoot-up a bingo game that night at a local synagogue.

He’s been held without bail since his Jan. 21 arrest.

The 22-year-old man who allegedly carried out a racially motivated rape and murder spree in Brockton, Mass., on the day after Barack Obama was inaugurated as America’s first black president told investigators that he drew his inspiration from the white nationalist website Podblanc, according to a police report.

Keith Luke, the man arrested Wednesday after a shootout with police in the Boston suburb, allegedly told police he wanted to kill blacks, Latinos and Jews because he had learned on racist Internet sites “about the demise of the white race.”

American neo-Nazi Craig Cobb runs Podblanc from Estonia, where Cobb moved in 2007 after decades of neo-Nazi activism in America with groups such as World Church of the Creator, White Revolution and the National Alliance. Podblanc features videos detailing combat handgun tactics, offers instructions in how to make Molotov cocktails and other improvised explosive devices, and explicitly celebrates and encourages “lone wolf” terrorism, up to and including hate crime murders of non-whites and Jews.

One Podblanc video entitled “Sniper Bags Negress,” for example, heralds the January 2008 random killing of a black woman in Omaha, Neb., by 19-year-old Kyle Bormann, who told police he targeted the victim because he was “pissed off” at black people. The website also glorifies the actions of Asa Coon, a troubled high school student who opened fire in a multicultural studies classroom in Cleveland in October 2007, wounding two teachers and two students before committing suicide.

“We need a martyr’s section for guys like Bormann and Asa Coon,” Cobb wrote in the “Sniper Bags Negress” comments section. “I’ll work on getting that installed.” ( continue to full post… )
