The Civil Rights Memorial is located at 400 Washington Avenue in downtown Montgomery, Alabama, across the street from the Southern Poverty Law Center office building.

The memorial is set in an open plaza, accessible to the public 24 hours a day throughout the year. The site is wheelchair accessible. Exhibits about the Civil Rights Movement martyrs, theater and the Wall of Tolerance are adjacent to the memorial inside the Civil Rights Memorial Center.

M-F 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children are admitted free of charge
Metered parking is available on the streets around the memorial. Trolleys are also available from the Montgomery Area Visitor Center. The memorial is within walking distance of other historic sites including the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, the Alabama State Capitol, the Alabama Department of Archives and History and the Rosa Parks Library and Museum.
Large groups should complete the group tour form before visiting.
