Days of Democracy is a statewide effort to bring people together to learn, take action through advocacy, and use the power we already have.
In towns and cities across Alabama, people will come together for trainings and democratic action days. These events will help us learn how our government works and what we can do to make a difference.
We are building the knowledge, skills and leadership our communities need so more people can take part in voting and civic life — not just for one election, but for many years to come. Democracy only works when we participate.
In Alabama, leaders make decisions every day about voting rights, schools, health care, housing, jobs and the justice system. But too often, the people most affected by these decisions do not have enough resources, information or representation.
Days of Democracy is about changing that, together!
