Justice Department Launches Arpaio Investigation

The U.S. Justice Department has begun an investigation of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department after months of complaints that Sheriff Joe Arpaio's deputies are routinely committing civil rights violations during immigration enforcement sweeps.
