American Renaissance Speakers Call for White Homeland
Over 150 white nationalists gathered yesterday at Montgomery Bell State Park outside Nashville, Tenn., for the American Renaissance conference. This year’s event featured new speakers and a noticeably younger audience, with half the crowd raising their hands after Jared Taylor, emcee of the event, opened it by asking, “How many of you are first time attendees?”
One first time speaker was “RamZPaul,” real name Paul Ray Ramsey, whose series of YouTube videos have racked up some 4.3 million views in the last four years (only former Klansman David Duke seems to have outpaced him among web-savvy racists, with more than 6.7 million YouTube views in the same time period). Posting what he calls “mostly satire that pokes fun at the establishment,” the 49-year-old Tulsa suburbanite’s sarcastic videos have become a weekly staple on major racist websites including Vanguard News Network and Stormfront.
Ramsey is becoming a hero to many on the radical right. “Ramzpaul is brilliant. A huge asset,” gushed anti-Semitic Cal State Long Beach professor Kevin MacDonald last January. Ramsey’s videos often appear on MacDonald’s racist site Occidental Observer. Last April, one of Ramsey’s videos opened with a shout out from Kyle Bristow, author of the racist novel White Apocalypse, which graphically depicts the murder of a fictional character based on a Southern Poverty Law Center employee.
At American Renaissance, Ramsey’s topic was “Sex and Nationalism,” and basically consisted of an attack on feminism mixed in with rather crude racist jokes. Ramsey said, “Feminism is a disease. What is the cause? It is the delusion that the sexes are equal. It is the mother of all delusions.” Apparently, Ramsey is very concerned that women’s focus on their careers, which often delays when they have children, is making our society matriarchal. The result, says Ramsey, is submissive men that white women don’t care to marry. Ramsey asserts, “We need more growth in white children” and white “secession.” If not, “Men’s rights will end. Christians will end. White conservatives will end.”
He seems less concerned about black women’s fertility. Ramsey said sarcastically that forty percent of all abortions are performed on black women. “In my neighborhood, it’s called Crime Stoppers.” He concluded his anti-feminist rant with a “joke.” “How can you tell if a white supremacist agrees with you? They say K-K-K.”
After his speech, Ramsey took a question from Matthew Heimbach, a member of the racist League of the South who has been in the news much of late for forming a white student union at Towson University in Maryland. Heimbach liked Ramsey’s speech, but wanted to know how to move forward in creating a white’s only homeland. “Where do we create our ethno state?” Heimbach asked. Ramsey’s answer: “We need to Balkanize and create our own homeland. We have a right to exist.” He suggested the Southwest for Latinos and the Southeast for African Americans.
Jared Taylor, head of American Renaissance, also took up the white homeland message. He opened his speech saying, “We want a homeland where we are a majority. We almost had one in the United States of America.” Taylor worries that by 2060, whites will only make up thirty percent of the population and Latinos will be the majority (The U.S. Census Bureau predicts whites will become a minority in the 2040s and no ethnic or racial group will be the majority). “Our government is permitting a neighboring country [meaning Mexico] to invade our country. We have a government of traitors,” Taylor raged. He lamented, “White people who express a desire for a homeland are labeled as haters.”
Much of Taylor’s talk was made up of relatively random racist or sexist rants. He asked, “Why would anyone believe the races are equal? And, “How can anyone think women should be in combat? Males and females are different.” Even if this weren’t true, Taylor complained, “the idea of sending the childbearing sex into combat is stupefying.” For Taylor, the end of white power began with the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision that desegregated public schools. But now, he says, the “insanity has gone well beyond race.” Sounding more ominous than usual, Taylor concluded, “We want a homeland…Think of secession…Think of hometowns. We have to build them ourselves…Survival is the first law. We have no choice but to keep fighting.”
Heimbach asked Taylor the same question he asked Ramsey: “The federal government will continue its genocide of our people. Where should we go? What is the best way to create a homeland?” “It will work itself out organically in ways we can’t predict,” Taylor responded. “White anger may erupt in places we’ve not heard of…Eventually we will wake up.”
Richard Spencer of the white nationalist National Policy Institute also plugged for a white homeland. Spencer argued for “peaceful ethnic cleansing,” a process he did not explain, that would clear parts of North America for Caucasians and suggested that the new state welcome white refugees from Europe. Spencer advocated a “sort of white Zionism” that would infuse whites with the dream of such a homeland just as Zionism helped spur the creation of Israel. “It is perfectly feasible for a white state to be established on the North American continent. Action is the easy part,” Spencer opined, adding, “I have a dream.”
Other speakers took up themes about race and intelligence more common to past American Renaissance conferences. For example, Byron Roth, professor emeritus of psychology at Dowling College, spoke fondly of eugenicists Arthur Jensen and Jean-Philippe Rushton, both of whom died in 2012. Roth explained to the group that American education is failing because of the inferior genetics of its increasingly minority student body. He displayed a series of charts supposedly proving this thesis that showed that the IQs of whites are higher than those of blacks and Latinos, but lower than those of Asians. Roger McGrath, a retired history professor and sometime contributor to the History Channel, spoke as usual on a seemingly unrelated historical topic that serves to extol white achievement. Yesterday, his PowerPoint presentation highlighted World War II flying aces. He called them, “Warrior Heroes of our Tribe.”
The event will be rounded out with speeches by John Derbyshire, who was fired from the conservative publication National Review for his racist rants; Fabrice Robert, president of the Bloc Identitaire, a French nationalist movement; and Sam Dickson, a Holocaust denier and former Klan attorney who has closed every meeting since the conferences began.
Some prominent white nationalists skipped the conference. David Duke published an open letter on March 25 saying that Taylor has requested he stay away because he is “too controversial.” Duke’s letter reminded attendees not to forget the “real architects of [white] genocide,” which for him are Jews. Don Black, who runs the racist forum Stormfront, also took a pass this year.

What really gets me about idiots like Ramsey is that he’s too stupid to realize that it was the inclusion of all Americans that increased the power of all people in this country despite color.
This man is blinded by his own myopic view of reality. We can only hope that idiots like this never pass the pearly gates.
I often ask myself what sort of ugly empty soul and hardened heart must a person have in order to promote so much hate and divide amongst their own countrymen and women?

The American Renaissance conference was a success. The attempt to shut it down failed.

These are my responses to this article:
1.) I have watched RamZPaul’s Youtube videos and they’re funny.
2.) Heimbach said, “We have a right to exist.” This sounds like a fair statement to me. Is the Hatewatch staff suggesting whites do not have a right to exist?
3.) South Africa and Zimbabwe are a templates for what life may be like for a white minority. Whites in America fear for the future and are starting to talk about these things openly.
4.) There was nothing wrong with the IQ graphs shown by Byron Roth. They were based on data collected from peer reviewed journal articles and are factual.
5.) I don’t know why David Duke and Don Black are mentioned in the article. Neither attended the event. This is just another Hatewatch smear.

That Ramsey guy sounds remarkably similar to this Brock Henderson guy who has shown up here. Of course, ultimately both are insecure little boys who can’t accept that there are millions of women in these United States of America who are smarter than they are.
And how many times do i have to tell these idiots – its not white men who women are rejecting – its insecure little white boys who embrace white nationalism which is ultimately a philosphy of insecurity and impotence – while they are male supremacists and claim to be white supremacists in reality they believe that white men are so weak that they cannot compete in a level playing field – so instead white men have to be given protected status. Ultiamtely they seem to think that white men are actually the most inferior humans on earth.
And yes, i really would love to see the white nationalists be given their own homeland to run – preferably on an island so the damage they cause as they quickly reach Lord of the Flies level will be contained. And of course, given that there is really no room in the white nationalist’s world for women (white supmreacists have long put white women on a pedestal which is contained inside a cage where their only purpose is to breed lots of white babies – little wonder that there was no mention of women attending or speaking at this little racist and sexist cry fest).
But ultimately the portrait of the white nationalists that emerged here are a bunch of insecure little wimps who are so sure of their inferiority that the only way that they think they can compete is if they eliminate all competition. Give them their own island and the problem of the white nationalist will quickly disappear – especially since there is no room for women in their little world. But really, these white nationalists don’t amount to much – just a small number of whiny losers who sometimes get together to whine together about what losers white men are.
That is kind of odd though – look at the halls of Congress, the list of richest people in the world, CEO offices, top government officials, business leaders, BIGLAW, academia, the media, etc. and you see lots of white men who are rich, powerful, and successful. White American males as a group are collectively the richest and most powerful group in the entire world – despite being a miniscule portion of the entire world’s population. That suggests that the failings of the white nationalists are not due to their apparently inferior in their view (since the white nationalists ultimately claim that white males are so fragile as to be unable to compete with women and minorities) gender and race but instead because they are a bunch of losers who blame their life failures on others rather than taking responsibility for their failure to take advantage of the lucky accident of being born white and male in America.
And of course, the prospect of actually having to share the wealth and power that other white men in America control with women and minorities (who are now being admitted into the elite club if they have enough money because the only color that matters among the true elites who rule America is green) the white nationalists want to take their pathetic loser band of failures and move to an island where they can whine all day about what a bad life that white males have in America. Meanwhile the rich white men who actually control this country will continue to refer to the few women and minorities admitted to their little clubs as “tokens” behind their backs.

Please forgive this stupid question, I am sincere. What is hate? I think I know what love is. I believe we love something when we keep it physically near us and physically take care of it. There must be both elements. We could truly love an alligator that would gladly bite our arm off it we kept it in the bathtub and fed it. What of a deceased spouse or grown child who are not physically present? I believe we love the memory of the person, but in my definition we no longer can love the actual person, as they are not physically near.
Is hate the opposite? Does it consist of the two elements of both distance and harm? If I wish to keep something distant from me, but not harm it, then in my limited viewpoint it is not hate. What if one wished to keep something physically close and also wanted to harm it? I suppose that would be sadism and yes I can see that sadism should be opposed. A simple desire for separation is not hate or sadism, and the exposition of the reasons for such a desire for separation or distance is not “harm”. In my simplistic view the criteria of distance and care/harm are literal, physical and direct. I gather that in your view the distance criteria is irrelevant and the care/harm criteria include secondary or consequential or even tangential effects? Is someone who opposes gay marriage a hater? Should they be banned from teaching children? Should they be shunned from decent society, banned from running from office? Suppose a person believed that homosexual marriage was a deviant sin and detrimental to social order? Suppose they expressed this opinion. In your view are they then guilty of a “hate crime”? How would you punish, correct, or admonish such an individual? Is there a “grace” period for such views. Will the expression of such views be more a crime ten years from now?

In the public arena we do not need people pushing their own personal life agenda’s that include bigotry and divide among American people that would constitute hate.
And love can manifest itself at a distance as well. Hate is purposely organizing and going out of one’s way to instill fear, oppression, mental or emotional harm, physical harm to a group of people based on their religious background or ethnicity.
It’s clear what hate is and how it manifest’s itself in this society.
Love is obviously expressed differently by many people and there is no one formula that is correct.
If you believe that gay marriage is wrong then that is your opinion and it’s the way you run your household, but when you start pushing those views in ways that is not part of your job description, or violating the civil rights of others because you believe that your views are law (which they are not) or pushing it on the public who doesn’t hold your view then we have a real problem.
Yes that becomes hate. Just as the bigots who go around trying to use conversion therapy or other methods to cure what they believe are social ills, when they themselves can’t get it right. And we are left with the question as to what sort of empty lives these people lead in trying to solve other peoples problems that simply don’t exist.
Gay and Lesbian couples have been with us since the beginning of time, this is not a new revelation or development.
Again, we do not have to agree with the lifestyle but we do not have the right to infringe on their civil liberties. There is a difference between your personal beliefs, your practices and the LAW.
The sooner people realize this the better off our society will be and the more taxpayer dollars will be saved from fighting over ridiculous legislation that should not have existed to begin with.
Then we can focus our attentions on real issues like homeland security and stopping homegrown terrorism, making our communities safer places to live in.

Marilyn, I believe hate springs from ignorance. For me, it comes from the delusion that we are separate and distinct from that which we see around us. It also comes from a belief that our suffering and wants are somehow of greater significance than the suffering and wants of others. At a philosophical level we can see that all suffering is basically equal.
Ironically, though we see hate as the means to buffer ourselves from the things we fear (which amount to suffering), hate colors our perceptions in such a way as to accentuate and blow out of proportion those things we are averse to. Thus hate chases away our happiness and occupies our thoughts with suffering, bringing into being that which we hope to avoid.
I personally do not see hate as the opposite of love. I see hate as an obscuration of the basic truth of compassion. And to have compassion with yourself is to free yourself from hate. There is nothing more liberating.
As to your questions on gay marriage and hate, I don’t think anyone but you can truly answer those questions to your own satisfaction.

Ms. Phagan: if I said I hated okra, I would mean I do not want it on my plate. If I said I hated moral cretins, I would mean I do not want their discourse forcing itself on sincere efforts, from whatever viewpoint, to shape policy. If I were to say I hate (for example) Ruritanians, and demanded a habitat from which they were barred, I would be expressing towards them an antipathy that could potentially harm them by expelling them from their homes, farms, and businesses to suit my personal taste, and if I were proposing to disenfranchise, enserf, enslave, exile, or exterminate them from anyplace I had, or proposed to acquire, jurisdiction, that would be a level amounting to hate in the fullest sense. The hate with which this blog deals, in short, is the desire to harm, disenfranchise, dispossess, or destroy people because of their involuntary or constitutionally protected membership in a group. I hope that is clear to you. If it is not, perhaps you need a forum that deals with simpler subjects, such as cultivating and cooking your fellow vegetables.

Edward, according to the U.S. Census Bureau there are over 5,000,000 white people living in Tennesee (79.5% of the population). even if you exclude Hispanic whites as you white nationalists no doubt would, that still leaves 4.8 million non-Hispanic white people in Tennessee (75.4% of the population.
In the entire United States, the white population is over 245,000,000 people. That is 78.1% of the population. Of course admitting that whites are still over 3/4 of the population isn’t scary enough for you white nationalists so you exclude the 14.7 percent of white Hispanics – even so, that leaves over 199,000,000 white people (63.4% of the population – yes, its actually ironic that as the Hispanic population increases the percentage of Americans who are white and primarily of European descent is actually increasing since the vast majority of Hispanics identify racially as being white – of course, the white nationalists won’t tell you that – instead they are panicing about a white minority by not counting Hispanics as white even though a rising Hispanic population is actually causing a rising white population and Hispanics were in the U.S. long before the English were).
You white nationalists attracted “over 150″ to your conference – out of 199,000,000 million white people in the U.S. – even if you assume that only 5% of all white nationalists came to this conference that still leaves over 199,000,000 white people who disagree with you. Even if only 1% came, that is only 15,000 white people who agree with you (as opposed to over 198,000,000 who don’t). Even if the 150 white nationalists only represent .01% of all white nationalists in the U.S. you only represent 1,500,000 people out of over 199,000,000 white people. That would still be less than 1% of all white people in the U.S. – a lower number by percentage than the number of white girls in my high school class who have had babies with black men.

The author, and by implication the SPLC, is quite skillful at name calling, but when it comes to actually refuting the message, not so much. If you shut down the opposition with laws against “hate speech,” then you don’t have to every again worry about refuting facts and arguments.

Erika, care to give an example, such as a statistic, suggesting that white people – or just men – can’t compete on a level playing field? How about one suggesting that minorities other than Asians CAN? No, by the way, I’m not in favor of a white American homeland carved out of the current U.S.

Brock, i’m not the one saying that white men are so fragile they cannot compete on a level playing field – it is your side. Ultimately that is what the white nationalists are claiming comes down to – but you are not smart enough to be able to understand concepts like underlying premises. You have to be able to look beyond at people’s mere words to the idea behind them.
If white people are going to become extinct unless separated from other people and unless other people are discriminated against, that ultimately means that your side is saying that white people are inferior. But the people on your side are too damn stupid to realize that.
That is also why your ideology is an ideology of impotence.

That’s a good argument you present. I am white, and I prefer the company of other whites. This does not mean I hate the other races. I simply am happier and feel more comfortable surrounded by my own people. This is personal preference. Not ‘hate’.
Just like a Jew living in New York may prefer to live in a Jewish neighborhood, frequent Jewish restaurants, have their children attend a Jewish school, have Jewish neighbors, take vacations with other Jews in the Catskills, etc …
There is no ‘hate’ here. This is merely freedom of association. It reflects personal choices on how we live our lives, what we do in our free time, where we shop, whom we invite to our home, where we chose to vacation, where we send our children to school, what friends we chose, and who we invite into our homes.
Reynardine, Mark Potok, Kiwi, Erica: Do you want the government to begin monitoring every individual, to see what they are doing in their free time, and whom they associate with, to root out possible ‘racists’? That would be a most totalitarian state. Similar to George Orwell’s “1984″.

Marilyn, let’s say I sincerely believed it would be in Society’s best interest to return to “Traditional Marriage”. That is, from the Hebrew Bible, where a man could have as many wives as he could afford, and they would be his property. Rings go on their fingers, but not on his. If I were to try and force this belief on everyone else , then, yes, that makes me a Hater. A hater of the American values of Liberty and Self Determination. You have rights, and so do we.

Edward, I wonder if you can provide a fully objective, reliably testable definition for this term you are using, “whites”.
Who or what, *exactly*, are you referring to? What does it take to be “white”? How do you tell? What’s the test? How does one replicate it?
Elements, for example, can be classified as one or another based on clearly defined criteria. Can you show how ‘whites’ can be absolutely identified?
I ask because over the years, I’ve been unsuccessful at obtaining this sort of definition from those who present themselves as ‘white nationalists’, Holocaust deniers, or other fellow travellers.
So far, I’ve been shown that objectively, it has nothing to do with familial descent (as a differently-complexioned child might not be accepted as ‘white’) and as to historically — at various times, Italians, Greeks or Irish persons might not be considered ‘white’ if it was culturally inconvenient at a given moment.
I will tell you that most of the time, the best final answer I’ve gotten is “I know it when I see it”, which basically means that it’s not any sort of absolute value, it’s a decorating scheme.
You may also recall that during the Nazi period, there were a number of tall, blue-eyed, blonde haired Jews, and many short or average height, brown eyed, black or brown- haired persons high in the political hierarchy.
So, can you please define this basic component of your question?
I’d expect that even you would admit that there might be problems providing a reality-based answer on criteria that may be, ultimately, imaginary.
Can you do this?

I personally don’t even think there really is such a thing as “white”. I ,for example, am a mixture of Irish and French with a bit of a as yet unidentified Mediterranean or Eastern European ethnicity on my dad’s side. the point is that all my “white” ancestors had cultures that were very different from each other and to be so racist in the name of a “white” culture that is an artificial construction, to me, is simply stupid.
and in case your wondering I haven’t decided which of my ancestors I identify with because I don’t completely know WHAT my paternal grandfather’s side of the family is and don’t want to make a decision until I do

Bill and Andy, I’ll make this simple for the both of you:

Nobody is proposing laws against “hate speech,” and nobody is interfering with your First Amendment rights to spout blather.
But that Amendment works both ways. If you spout drivel in public, my freedom of speech allows me to criticize what you say, and that’s what we are doing here. You want to enter the public arena, expect criticism. Don’t like it? Tough. Visiting ballplayers are invariably booed.
Andy, I wasn’t at the protest, and I don’t know anybody at the protest, and I sure don’t have any control over that protest.
But I can assure you, this liberal does not like the idea of a protester becoming what he beholds, and holding up a sign calling for murder. I have urged people protesting Klukkers and neo-Nazis and other junior Fascists not to become imitations or mirror images of their opponents, and done so on this very blog.
I can’t speak for all the millions of Americans who are liberals and “lefties,” and I don’t control them, either. But as far as this liberal is concerned, you can “just wonder” no further.
And here’s some advice…when you make a straw man to stomp…find better material.

The article gives me the impression that to be racist one has to be white first.
This article merely beats around the bush with stereotypes and guilt by association – fighting what the author sees as hate and ignorance with his own version. I’m not caucasian myself, but honestly listening to people like Ramsey and Taylor on these issues do not worry me at all, in fact the variety of voices and opinions out there give me the opposite feeling. Once upon a time this is what people called grounds for understanding – today it’s in the borders of hate speech if not inside it.
These people don’t shave their heads and wear combat boots rallying and mugging people on the streets. They have just as much right to express their views as a representative to their people, just as any other minority groups freely do like the NAACP and CAIR as examples.
The problem are the listeners/observers themselves and how they digest every word at what these speakers say. Unfortunately most the so-called ‘anti-racists’ already have an opinion of their own. And it is from these PC-types in high places of the government that people like Ramsey spring up every now and then and shall continue to do so.

Erika, how do you define a “level playing field”? You do realize that affirmative action, which is practiced in most institutions and by most employers gives a leg up to virtually everyone except white men? Sure, Their are poor minorities, but their are poor white kids on the same level. How is it fair that due to affirmative action, a minority might get picked for a job, or a scholarship, over a better qualified white kid just because of their race? For that matter, why don’t schools have scholarships that are just for poor white kids when there are exclusive ones for every other race? Isn’t that basically just feel-good racism? Bill you obviously haven’t read any of the case dockets have you? I would say that the work done in refuting arguments and upholding the law against criminals that perpetrate hate is and continues to be very affective.
Shutting down people who use violent speech and in turn violent methods would be a good thing for our society as a whole.

As I’ve said before, this would create a huge problem for the WNs once they achieve their “state.” It’s obvious that this state would be a capitalist state, which would necessarily require a large proletariat dispossessed of its means of production. In other words, you will have rich “whites” and poor whites. Since WNism promotes biological determinism and frowns on scientific, sociological explanations for wealth inequality and poverty, they will have to explain this disparity by other means. So in other words, “whites” will not be equal, and without minorities to blame, a sort of social Darwinist eugenics ideology will arise.
In fact this kind of thing already happened in the late 19th and early 20th century. Places like New York in the late 19th century were far more dangerous than they are today, despite the population being almost entirely “white” by today’s standards. Back then the scapegoats were Irish, Italian, or Eastern European, and the explanation was that those people were of a lesser “race” than Northern Europeans/WASPs.

Since it is illegal in England, Canada and Europe it can be reasonably assumed that well intentioned people here who are pushing the European model for America certainly are in favor of these laws as well. Currently, threats of violence, and incitement of violence, can be prosecuted here, as well they should be. My objection to outlawing Hate Speech is that the definition can change overnight depending on who is elected, and this country tends to swing from far Left to far Right.

El Paso del Notre (today the twin cities of El Paso, Texas/Cuidad Jaurez, Chihuahua) was formed in late 1500s – probably around 1570 or so. Santa Fe, New Mexico was formed in 1610 (three years after the first permanent English colony of Jamestown, Virginia). It is safe to say that many Spainards had been north of the Rio Bravo/Rio Grande by 1607. There is no question that the Spanish had permanent settlements in the United States before the English.

John, even if 10,000,000 white people agree with the Amren crowd, that is still a very small percentage of the total white population. The actual numbers of white nationalists are extremely tiny. The percentage of white people who would actually want to move to a separate white homeland would probably be small enough to fit onto a small island or perhaps a single county. Remember that there is a difference between racist and white supremacists and white nationalists.

Hailey, those figures are from the U.S. Census Bureau – the racial classification from the U.S. Census Bureau is based upon self classification – according to their figures, 14.7 percent of the white population self identifies as Hispanic. The total Hispanic population was about 17% if i remember right (can’t remember the exact figure but its easily available on the Quick Fact section of census.gov ) that means that the majority of Hispanics self identify as White (meaning that they check their race as being White).
So nice try, but the statistics are clear.

That fact is undeniable. On the national scene there are almost without a doubt more people who support Communism or think that the current Congress is doing a great job than support white nationalism.
At least if you exclude the likely substantial portion of the American population who would gladly see the white nationalists go off to their own island. But the number of people who would move there would be very small. And most people really would not care – i mean, white nationalists are ultimately about as big of a pressing issue as the risk of being eaten by a dinosaur on the way to the grocery store.
It is also undeniable that if this new “white” island was developed and used genetic testing to assure that the people moving there were all white the vast majority of white Americans including the vast majority of white nationalists would not qualify. Looking at the family records the largest origin of my ancestors is “unknown. Genetically i’m definitely primarily European and i definitely look white, but who really knows.

Everyone tends to gravitate toward his or her “own people,” but most grown-ups don’t look at this designation as simplistically as you do.
For example, I regard my wife as a member of “my people” in the sense that we share many interests and opinions. However, she is female and I am male. She is also what you would call “non-white” whereas I am what you could call “white.” My daughter is also among “my people,” but, on top of being a girl, she is much younger than me and certainly, as a toddler, doesn’t share my opinions on all things. Her pre-school classmates, along with their parents (representing a range of ethnic origins, ages, and opinions) are also among “my people” because of their proximity to my daughter and because they are children or parents: we share or are beneficiaries of similar overarching responsibilities. Same goes with the people in my city, for the same general reasons. Each individual’s activities impacts the others, potentially in very positive or negative ways, irrespective of their race.
The same logic can justifiably be extended to the inhabitants of the planet, especially these days, since the products we create and buy and discard, and the ways the leaders we select interact with those of other countries, impact our climate and our safety.
You may want to be around only your “own kind,” and you’re free to define the term with the infantile simplicity of “white versus non-white,” but you can’t erase the interconnectedness of your existence with other humans on this planet. An increasing number of people are realizing this and embracing the only legimate designation of “race”: the human race.

my earlier comment contains an error, 14.7 percent of the total American population self identifies as “white, Hispanic” rather than 14.7% of the white population.
However it does remain true that 14.7 of the self identified white population (close to 80% of the total, but the white nationalists – and even the mainstream media exclude white, Hispanics (including presumably those who move here from Spain) from the white population to try to make it appear that whites will be a minority by 2040. That is simply not true – in 2040 whites will still be the majority of the population. What is much more likely to happen in the future is that like eastern Europeans and southern Europeans before them the white majority will stop classifying Hispanics as an “other” and accept them as being “white.”
And ultimately that is all that really defines “white” in this country – self identity and public acceptance (which almost always follows self identity). Americans are a mixed race people – with the population overwhelmingly having a mix of European, African, and Native American roots.

I see a difference between Brock and his posts. There is nothing warm or fuzzy about ignorance. But we are all susceptible to that, progressive, reactionary, and anything in between. Is it so wrong to not give up on those who are lost?
What I see here is continual Brock bashing, which merely reinforces whatever need he has to be in conflict with people over pretty clear philosophical and rational truths. As I have said before I admire Brock’s fighting spirit and sense of inquiry. I am hopeful that he can see the truth in what we are saying. He has as we all do the basic confusion of being human. I don’t see how he will rise above anything that troubles us if the only message he gets from us is one of moral superiority.

Evidently, Brock thinks the United States should be limited to a strip of territory along the Eastern Seaboard, not including either Florida or Maine. By that definition, he is now a subject of the Spanish Crown, which, however, does not accept the jurado de España from extraterritorials who cannot demonstrate patrilateral descent from a Spaniard. Bill & Hillary Clinton live in Chappaqua, NY, which is located in Westchester County. Census track information shows their neighborhood to be nearly all-white. Yet the Clintons are white liberals who have publically advocated multiculturalism for a couple of decades. Very strange. See the disconnect?
I noticed that most of the anti-racist protestors at the American Renaissance conference were white. They were protesting, against whites who advocate white group interests. Very strange. The anti-racists were also young for the most part. I bet they are the college age children of upper middle class white parents and grew up in majority white neighborhoods.
In 1960, America was 90% white. Today it’s only about 63% white. It is projected whites will be a minority by 2050. If we extrapolate this curve into the future the end result will be the eventual complete extinction of the white race. How is this a “good” thing?
Yet the white protestors (who call themselves “anti-racists) see no problem with the extermination of their own race. Very strange indeed.
I would think every living thing would be in favor of it’s own survival. Not advocate it’s own extinction. Again, very strange thinking in the minds of these “anti-racists”.
“Anti-racists” never protest against blacks, hispanics, or Asians. They only protest against other whites. Again, very strange.
Professional anti-racists like Morris Dees and Tim Wise live in almost all-white communities. A review of census track information on Tim Wise’s residential area reveals it is 97% white, and 0% black. His home is valued in the $600K range. Very strange. Tim Wise advocates “diversity”. Yet he lives far away from blacks.
All wealthy white leftists live far away from blacks. They live in nearly 100% white neighborhoods. Very strange. See the disconnect?
They same is true of Phil Donahue. Also is true of Chris Matthews of MSNBC. He claims to live in Washington DC. That is a lie. He lives in a neighborhood in Chevy Chase, MD that is almost 100% white.
The same is true for Michael Moore. He claims to have grown up in Flint, Michigan. That is a lie. Flint is majority black. Michael Moore grew up in a town outside of Flint called Davison. Davison is an almost all-white. Moore has a home in Traverse City, MI. Again, an almost 100% white town.
The Kennedy family is another example. Cape Cod is an almost 100% white area of Massachusetts. New England is already a very white part of the country.
If they really believed that it was a wonderful thing for a white person to live as a minority, they themselves would move to a majority black or hispanic neighborhood. But they don’t? Do you see the insanity?
None of these people take the leap and sell their home, and move to a majority black neighborhood.
Where do Morris Dees and Mark Potok live? What are the demographics of their neighborhoods? I bet they are overwhelmingly white. Surely they do not live in majority black neighborhoods in Montgomery Alabama. Yet they tell us how wonderful and enriching it is to live amongst blacks. And you other posters on this message board have bought into this lie. Very strange. It makes no sense to me.
I want each of you to tell us the demographics of your particular census track. If you don’t live in a majority black or hispanic neighborhood, and you’re still telling us how wonderful it is … then explain yourself!

Hell, give ‘em Arizona. Just build a wall around the West, North, and East side of it. Let them worry about the South. I watch Ramzpaul’s YouTube videos. He has some non-mainstream views, but mostly he’s an ironist and is often very funny. He’s done a video on the SPLC’s assessment of him. On balance it’s fairer, less prejudiced and closer to the mark than the above piece. While the SPLC is busy deciding who is a hate-group and who is not, who is monitoring the members, affiliates and allies of the SPLC? The SPLC has its own ideological slant, its own biases, intolerances and prejudices just as every other political group does. However, few are as blind and as hypocritical.

I’m with you, Erika. I understand. My point is just that trolls feed off the reaction they get, like cockroaches sucking spoiled foods. If you cut off the food supply, they tend to go elsewhere.
Brock, for all his misadventures and stunning record of losses in these debates, shows the potential to become evolved. He’s not swirling in the toilet bowl obsessively like “John” or simply spouting off some half baked, unverified factoid he heard at church or on AM radio, like so many occasional visitors. He seems genuinely interested in bettering himself.
It’s frustrating, tragic even, to see him haul this truckload of anger and hate down the path toward learning. Maybe it will become clearer to him over time that knowledge is not about holding to one’s own ideas, the way an alcoholic clings to the bottle. It is about discarding and reassembling those ideas when they have served their purpose. Nor is it about being “right”, but rather finding out why we are wrong, and adapting to new discoveries. That’s real knowledge. Maybe one day he’ll get there.
The test will be if he can actually admit when he is wrong, but as long as he feeds off the conflict he won’t have the opportunity. That’s all I was trying to say. That and a small, probably fruitless expression of hope that one day we might evolve as a species.
And Brock, I do hope you realize this cuts both ways. You are putting yourself on the side of people who waste their lives causing harm to others, people who murder, burn down places of worship and residences, and celebrate the holocaust as a victory. It is a path toward ridicule, scorn, and some cases, incarceration. All lead to unhappiness. Is that really who you are?

A couple of random points amid the hubbub:
• One reason for the overall hysterical tone of the comments on this post is that a lot of them were written by the same person using different names. I count 10: Edward, John, Marilyn Phagan, Rob, Jonny, Jason, Paul Kersey, spukie, aporiac and yes, anti-racist. Maybe also haily chen. And that’s giving the benefit of the doubt to a few more. It’s the same JasonAnnieEzraEugene et al. spouting the same incoherent nonsense as always.
• Regarding the historical priority of Hispanic settlement in North America, it’s important to remember that today’s Latino Belt in the Southwest was forcibly annexed to the U.S. through an illegal war of conquest. The Mexican residents there became U.S. citizens whether they wanted or not. But now, it seems, some of us don’t want them to be able to become U.S. citizens even if they do want to.
• Speaking of the execrable Edward: I do live in a black-majority Census tract (not “track”). I also attended a majority-black high school after attending an all-white elementary school. That all-white school is where I first discovered that racism is fundamentally a matter of ignorant bullies saying ugly things about people they don’t even know. Nothing I’ve heard in the almost six decades since then has given me any reason to change my mind about that.

Who cares! We will not lose one race over another. Just stop trying to halt progression. When we learn to just let Americans unite and live free we will indeed be a great country again. But with all of this inner fighting and discord it’s no wonder we see growing homegrown terrorism and the Federal Government is just the scapegoat for some of these terrorists groups to exact their violence on society.

As a lot of you know, we’ve developed a problem with the antagonistic nature of the comment threads on Hatewatch. As a result, and after talking to some of you, we’ve decided to try and restore some civility and sense of community.
From now on, we’re just not going to publish comments that include name-calling of any kind, no matter whose side of a particular issue you’re on. It is interesting that Jews and all other non-European people are permitted their own countries. It’s only those countries with European indigenous people that are being forced to become non-European.
Motivation to specifically wipe out only those countries’ indigenous inhabitants (United States, Europe, Australia, Canada), appears sinister and suspicious.
Native Indians were indigenous to European settlement. Now, Both European-Americans and Native Indians are indigenous to the current invasion of Third-World settlements.
It would be a good idea to review the UN’s definition of genocide and Indigenous Peoples’ Bill of Rights.
