SPLC statement on states' suit against DACA

This legal action is senseless and cruel. Young people protected under DACA are part of the fabric of their communities in each of the states that signed on to this suit.
It does nothing but promote President Trump’s extreme anti-immigrant agenda at the expense of communities, families and common decency.
Shame on these seven states for putting politics above our country’s values.
