The Southern Poverty Law Center prides itself on being a catalyst for social justice throughout the South and beyond. We do this by concentrating our efforts on building power from the ground up, with a keen focus on dismantling and disrupting systemic racism, eradicating poverty, decriminalizing Black and Brown people, and protecting voting rights.
The vehicle for driving this change is the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Advocacy Institute Bootcamp. The Northeast region boot camp is an introductory community advocacy workshop.
During the two-day seminar, community organizers will learn grassroots organizing techniques and how to show up in the community as an advocate.
The bootcamp will be held April 4 and April 5, 2025.
