SPLC mourns the loss of Rev. Dr. Lowery

MONTGOMERY —  Southern Poverty Law Center Interim President and CEO Karen Baynes-Dunning issued the following statement mourning the death of civil rights movement leader Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery, 98:

“Today we pause to remember and honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery. His messages of love and justice will reverberate for generations.”
