The current Moore’s Ford Bridge over the Apalachee River near Monroe, Georgia. The original bridge, where Roger Malcolm, his wife Dorothy Dorsey Malcom, George Dorsey and Mae Murray Dorsey were killed July 25, 1946, has been torn down. The killings became known as the “Last Mass Lynching in America.” The case was closed by law enforcement on Jan. 29, 2018 with no charges ever filed.
