A newspaper article documents the deaths of Roger Malcolm, his wife Dorothy Dorsey Malcom, George Dorsey and Mae Murray Dorsey on July 25, 1946, near Moore’s Ford Bridge near Monroe, Georgia. The case drew a federal investigation and became known as the “Last Mass Lynching in America.” The Georgia Bureau of Investigation officially closed the case January 29, 2018. No one was ever charged with the murders.
